Corey Heim, in the midst of his second full-time season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, seems to have Darlington Raceway figured out, scoring his third career pole, at the historic facility.

Heim, driving the No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage, posted the quickest time in Friday’s single-truck qualifying session, lapping around the 1.366-mile oval in 29.263 seconds (168.048mph).

Last weekend’s winner at Kansas Speedway, Grant Enfinger, will start on the outside of the front row for Friday’s 200-mile contest, qualifying on the front row for a NASCAR Truck Series event for the first time since Kentucky in 2019.

Nick Sanchez was the highest-qualifying rookie for Friday’s event, earning a starting spot of third place in his Rev Racing Chevrolet Silverado. Rounding out the top-five, were teammates from McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, Christian Eckes and Jake Garcia.

Stewart Friesen will start from sixth, with Matt DiBenedetto, William Byron, Ty Majeski, and Chase Purdy completing the top-10 for the ninth NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event of the season.

With 37 teams entered in Friday’s Buckle Up South Carolina 200 at Darlington Raceway, there was one truck that failed to qualify, that being the No. 33 Ford F-150 for Josh Reaume and Reaume Brothers Racing.

Colby Howard will start Friday’s 200-mile event from 36th, after failing to post a qualifying lap in Friday’s session.
