Video: Brad Keselowski Done For Day After Car Ignites in Flames Late at Phoenix

Brad Keselowski’s first season at RFK Racing will come to an end early after his car broke out into a fireball late in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix.

Brad Keselowski is the latest, in a long line, of Ford drivers to suffer from his Next Gen race car spontaneously combusting in the middle of a NASCAR Cup Series race.

Unfortunately, for Keselowski, his first season as a driver/owner will end on the hook as his car ignited big time in the closing laps of Sunday’s race. Keselowski brought his No. 6 Kohler Generators machine to a stop under caution and was able to climb out.

Here is video of the unfortunate end to Keselowski’s season:

While it didn’t look like Keselowski had a race-winning car on Sunday, the fireball exit ensures that Keselowski’s streak of consecutive seasons with at least one NASCAR Cup Series win will come to an end at 11.
