Kevin Harvick isn’t alone. Another Playoff contender has found trouble in the opening Stage of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, and this time it was Tyler Reddick, who scored the pole for the event and was leading at the time of his incident.

Reddick had a right rear tire cut down on his No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, which sent him into the outside wall.

Here is video of what ended Reddick’s race:

The damage to Reddick’s front suspension was too severe for him to continue on. As such, he’ll finish the day 35th, one spot ahead of Kevin Harvick, who will finish dead-last.

This will severely impact Reddick’s Playoff hopes.
