DGM Racing revealed on Twitter on Friday that Ross Chastain, who has won two NASCAR Cup Series races in 2022, will once again join their team to be the driver of their fourth entry — the No. 92 — at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course next weekend.
While the sponsor for the effort has yet to be announced, the team gave a sneak peek of the car, which looks like it’ll be a light purple and white car.

The 29-year old Chastain ran for the team at Circuit of the Americas earlier this season and in that race, Chastain started second and ran well, leading 14 laps on the day. In the end, Chastain suffered misfortune late, but was still able to record a 17th-place finish for the team.
The day after the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the Americas, Chastain went on to score his first-career NASCAR Cup Series win. Chastain will look to pull off the same feat next weekend.
Overall, Chastain has two-career wins in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition and he has recorded 21 top-five finishes and 47 top-10s over 193 starts. The Florida-native currently sits second in the NASCAR Cup Series regular season point standings.
In addition to his NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series starts he’s made this season, Chastain has also scored a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win in five starts with Niece Motorsports this year.
