Chase Briscoe, who scored a win earlier in the year at Phoenix, and Ty Dillon who has quietly been consistent this season, collided on lap 61 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Briscoe entered turn 1 very low as he attempted to fend off Ross Chastain who was looking to get by on the inside. By going into the turn with a shallow entry, Briscoe washed up in turns 1 and 2 and made contact with Dillon.
Both drivers would skid into the wall and each other.

Fortunately, for both drivers, the damage wasn’t severe enough to end their day on the spot. Unfortunately for Briscoe, he would head to the garage around 15 laps later.
