Video: Austin Cindric Blows Left-Rear Tire, Slams Outside Wall in Second Stage of Coca-Cola 600

Austin Cindric’s first appearance in the Coca-Cola 600 will end prematurely after a left-rear tire sent the Team Penske driver into the turn three wall.

Austin Cindric – the winner of this year’s Daytona 500 — was having a great run inside the top-10 in his first Coca-Cola 600, but that won’t matter, after a left-rear tire blew on his No. 2 Menards Ford Mustang, sending him into the turn three wall HARD.

Cindric was running in ninth-place when he lost his left-rear tire entering turn three, spinning him around and sending him fairly hard into the outside wall, ending his day.

Luckily, Cindric has the benefit of his win in the Daytona 500 to lock him into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, provided we remain with 16 or fewer winners. Cindric will finish in the 34th position.
