For the second consecutive year, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will not visit Canadian Tire Motorsport Park thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

NASCAR blamed “logistical challenges” as the ultimate cause for the cancellation.

In its place, the second Truck Series Playoff race will be Darlington on September 5th at 1:30 p.m. EST, just a handful of hours before the Cup race scheduled for later that evening. The race will be broadcasted on FOX Sports 1.

This means that the Playoffs for the Truck Series will no longer feature a road course element for 2021. The Truck Series will not visit Charlotte Roval, unlike the Xfinity and Cup Series.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will race on September 4th at 3:30 p.m. EST on NBCSN, with fans getting three races in two days.
