Kyle Busch put on a clinic in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Pit Boss 250 at Circuit of the Americas as he dominated by leading 35 of the race’s 46 laps in the No. 54 Skittles Gummies Toyota Supra.

This is Busch’s 98th career NXS win, as he continues to close in on 100-career wins in the series. After climbing from his stout car, Busch admitted that some old injuries from his 2015 season started to crop back up over the last week.

“I gotta give a huge shout out to all of the machine guys, all of the CNC guys as well as the carbon guys. They helped me to be able to get comfortable in the car this weekend, for being able to come out here and run on the road course again. A little bit of old 2015 started to flare up again this past week.”

If Busch was hurting, you couldn’t tell by his incredible performance on the track. Busch will now attempt to win Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series EchoPark Texas Grand Prix.

AJ Allmendinger finished runner-up by more than 11-seconds to Busch.

Justin Allgaier scored an impressive third-place finish, while Kevin Harvick got familiar with the road course in Austin with a fourth-place effort with BJ McLeod Motorsports.

Austin Cindric capped off the top-five.

Harrison Burton, Cole Custer, Tyler Reddick, Justin Haley and Jeb Burton rounded out the top-10 finishers in the race.

For Reddick, his second-place finish in Stage 1 and eighth place finish in the race landed Jordan Anderson Racing’s No. 31 team some valuable points. JAR attempted to make the field in the season-opening race at Daytona, but qualifying was washed out, which sent them packing. This was the team’s first chance to qualify for a race since then, and they put out a great effort.
