Marcus Lemonis Backing Four NCWTS Teams at Richmond with Camping World and Good Sam

Marcus Lemonis – CEO of Camping World, the title sponsor of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series — is again helping unsponsored drivers and teams find financial backing for their trucks in Saturday’s Toyota Care 250 at Richmond Raceway.

Reaume Brothers Racing, Cram Enterprises, GMS Racing and CMI Motorsports are the four organizations that have confirmed their sponsorship with Lemonis and Good Sam – or in the case of CMI Motorsports, Camping World.

No. 33 – Keith McGee – Reaume Brothers Racing

Keith McGee will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut on Saturday Afternoon, piloting the No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado for Reaume Brothers Racing. The 39-year-old United States Air Force Veteran served as a radar technician for the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) from September 11, 2001 to August 9, 2009.

Alongisde Good Sam will be the US Air Force Reserve, which has played an immense role in McGee being able to make his series debut this weekend at Richmond.

“I am humbled beyond words by the support that I have received,” McGee told TobyChristie.com. “To have Good Sam, and the US Air Force Reserve get behind me and my story is a literal dream come true. The hardest and the scariest thing I have ever had to do, was to believe in myself, but it has also been the most rewarding thing ever.”

No. 41 – Dawson Cram – Cram Enterprises

Dawson Cram, NASCAR’s youngest team owner, will carry the red and yellow colors of Good Sam on-board the No. 41 Chevrolet Silverado at Richmond Raceway, in search of the family-owned organization’s best-ever finish.

While Cram Enterprises participated in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ return to Richmond Raceway last Fall, the 19-year-old will be making his first laps around the 0.75-mile short track when the race begins on Saturday Afternoon.

No. 21 – Zane Smith – GMS Racing

Zane Smith – the runner-up in the 2020 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship battle — will also have financial backing from Good Sam on Saturday Afternoon at Richmond, in hopes of claiming his first victory of the season and the third of his career.

Last month at Atlanta, Smith was one of 11 drivers and teams to have sponsorship from Marcus Lemonis in the form of Overton’s. The 21-year-old finished in the sixth-position, one spot behind GMS Racing teammate and 2020 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teammate Sheldon Creed, who was the highest-finishing Overton’s entry.

No. 49 – Ryan Reed – CMI Motorsports

When it comes to the situation of sponsorship from Marcus Lemonis – through Camping World, Overton’s and Good Sam — this story is a little different. CMI Motorsports – who fields the No. 49 and No. 83 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series — has been struggling to get into the fields this season, with no practice and qualifying forcing race eligibility to be determined based on 2021 Owner Points.

However, at Bristol on the dirt, CMI Motorsports made their first race of the season with Andrew Gordon, allowing the organization to get the necessary amount of points for their No. 49 Chevrolet SIlverado to be in the field at Richmond Raceway.

Making the story more impactful, is the team’s driver for Saturday’s Toyota Care 250 at Richmond. Ryan Reed – who hasn’t contested an event in NASCAR’s top-three series since March 2019 — will return to the driver’s seat at the 0.75-mile facility, piloting the No. 49 Camping World Chevrolet Silverado for CMI Motorsports.

For CMI, the goal is simply to earn enough points to continue their journey in the series’ next event at Kansas, with the eventual goal of getting enough points to have the No. 49 make the show on a consistent basis.
