Report: Trackhouse Crew Chief Travis Mack Ejected From Martinsville For Ballast Violation

UPDATE – April 10th, 5:23 PM EST: Justin Marks, co-owner of Trackhouse, shared a tweet following the ejection. NASCAR has also confirmed the ejection of Mack following the ballast violation.

In addition, Suarez will drop to the rear and Jose Blasco-Figureora will step in once again as crew chief.

The Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 is just hours away, and according to FOX Sports, one crew chief has already been ejected thanks to an inspection violation.

Bob Pockrass is reporting that Travis Mack, crew chief for Trackhouse, and Daniel Suarez, told fellow FOX colleague Jamie Little that he has been ejected following the discovery of ballast in the jackpost of the No. 99 Camaro ZL1 1LE.

NASCAR has yet to confirm the news of Mack’s ejection as of this publishing.

With the ejection, Trackhouse has yet to name a replacement for Suarez’s crew chief, with the race just hours away.

This is a developing story, and will be updated as more information becomes available.
