UPDATED Thursday, April 1st 2021 at 8:45PM / EST:  A representative from McAnally-Hilgemann Racing has further confirmed to TobyChristie.com that Matt Noyce – who was replaced as crew chief of Derek Kraus’ No. 19 Toyota Tundra — is no longer employed with the organization.

On Thursday Evening, McAnally-Hilgemann Racing announced that Mark Hillman – a long-time crew chief across NASCAR’s top-three series — would serve as the new crew chief for Derek Kraus’ No. 19 Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Hillman is set to replace Matt Noyce, who served as the team’s crew chief for the first five races of the season, after moving over from ThorSport Racing at the beginning of the 2021 campaign.

“We’re pleased to welcome Mark to the team,” said MHR co-owner Bill McAnally. “We’re confident he will be a great addition and we expect to have a strong year with him leading the way. Derek and the team had a great rookie season in 2020 and we want to build on that success as we move forward.”

Earlier in his NASCAR career, Hillman worked in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series garage, serving as the truck chief for Germain Racing when the organization won their two championships in 2006 and 2010. From 2012 to 2015, Hillman served as the crew chief for Hillman Racing in the NASCAR Truck Series and NASCAR Cup Series, before moving to various different teams between 2016 and 2019.

Most recently, Hillman served as a crew chief for MBM Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, working with Timmy Hill and the No. 66 team in five of the series’ six events this year.

“I’m excited to get this opportunity with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing” Hillman said. “Derek is a talented young driver and as a team, we will work hard to put him in position to contend for the win at each event.”

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will contest their sixth event of the 2021 season on April 17 at Richmond Raceway, with coverage beginning at 7:30 PM / EST on FOX Sports 1.
