Cory Roper’s Truck to Bring Awareness to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Las Vegas

The man who nearly pulled off the ultimate underdog Cinderella story in the season-opening NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway a few weeks ago, Cory Roper is back with a new look on his No. 04 truck for this weekend’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

While the talk of the town has been the nine-plus teams that will carry Camping World’s blue and yellow colors in Friday’s race, Roper will stand out with a black, red and white scheme that will bring awareness to the Children Miracle Network Hospitals with the hood of his Ford-F150.

For Roper, it’s an honor to carry the network of hospitals on his truck.

“It is a privelage to represent Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals this weekend on the
No. 04 Ford F-150,” said Roper in a team release. “This is a great cause to help change kids’ health and change the future for children all over the country. We’re going to give our very best this weekend for CMN.”

According to Children’s Miracle Networks, it was their partners that suggested that the organization partner up with the No. 04 Roper Racing team.

“We’re thrilled to have Cory Roper and Roper Racing supporting Children’s Miracle Network this weekend for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Our partners suggested we jump onboard with Roper Racing this weekend and we couldn’t refuse. This a great opportunity to help build awareness to our organization. We wish Cory and his team the best this weekend.”

Roper, who is attempting to run the full NCWTS schedule for the first time in his career in 2021, had three previous starts at LVMS, with a best finish of 24th coming at the 1.5-mile speedway in 2019.

The Texas-native feels the track in sin-city is one of the best on the circuit, thanks in part to the multiple lanes you can utilize while battling others on track.

“Las Vegas is a very fun race track to compete because you can use multiple grooves on the track to race on,” Roper explained. “The trucks are also packed together with the speeds that we run. The competition here at this track is phenomenal. I look forward to battling it out with the other teams all race.”

Through two races in the 2021 season, the driver of the No. 04 truck sits 13th in the championship standings.
