Video: Noah Gragson Crashes With David Starr While Leading With Two Laps to go at Homestead

What a wild turn of events. You have to feel gutted for Noah Gragson, who had a nine-second lead on Tyler Reddick with two laps remaining in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Contender Boats 250 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Then, out of nowhere, David Starr, who was running inside the top-15, lost a tire in front of Gragson. Starr’s No. 13 car slowed, and Gragson had nowhere to go but into the back of Starr’s bright orange Whataburger car.

“What are you going to do? You’ve got dipshits in the way every single week,” Gragson said after exiting the infield care center. “But very thankful for Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops. It’s a shame, we’ve dominated the last three races including this race and had stuff happen like that.”

Gragson, who was heading toward near-certain victory, led 34 laps before being knocked out of the race.
