Jake Griffin and Reaume Brothers Racing have come to terms on an agreement that will see the 22-year old driver compete for the organization in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2021 on the dirt tracks at Bristol Motor Speedway and Knoxville.

According to a press release, the deal was signed within the last week.

“I am really looking forward to getting back behind the wheel in 2021. To have it be for RBR in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at two of the most historic racetracks in the world, well you can’t ask for too much more of an opportunity then that.” said Griffin in a team release.

Griffin, an Illinois-native, has made six NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts over his young career. Griffin’s career-best finish is fourth, which came on the dirt at Eldora in 2016. He also scored a ninth-place finish in his lone ARCA Menards Series start back in 2016 on the dirt at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

Team owner Josh Reaume is very excited to see what the youngster can do behind the wheel for his team in 2021.

“I am really thrilled to have Jake come and race here at Reaume Brothers Racing,” said Reaume. “I’m looking forward to having him race for us at Bristol and Knoxville knowing that he is an accomplished dirt racer. 2020 was an extremely interesting year for all of us, so I truly believe 2021 will be a great season for myself and the growth of RBR. I am happy to kick off the season with the news that Jake Griffin will drive for us.”

Reaume Brothers Racing has been a team that has slowly been chipping away in the Truck Series for the last several years. This offseason, the team moved into a larger facility in Mooresville, North Carolina. Now, they’ll look to keep building toward better results in 2021.
