Greg Biffle to Drive GMS Racing’s No. 24 Truck at Darlington Raceway

The Biff, Greg Biffle, is back. The 50-year-old driver will return to drive for GMS Racing in the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado in next week’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series event at Darlington Raceway.

The team made the announcement via a press release on Thursday.

Biffle, who won in a one-off Truck Series race with Kyle Busch Motorsports last season at Texas Motor Speedway, is excited to get back after it.

“I’m excited to get back behind the wheel of a Gander Truck,” said Biffle. “GMS Racing produces competitive trucks week in and week out. So needless to say when I got the chance to drive one of their Chevrolet’s, at one of my favorite tracks, I couldn’t turn it down. I’m thankful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to get to Darlington with this GMS Racing team.”

According to the team release, Biffle’s sponsor and paint scheme will be announced at a later date.

Biffle has scored three wins at Darlington during his illustrious career. Two of those came in the NASCAR Cup Series in the Southern 500, and one of them came in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Biffle will look to add a Truck Series win at Darlington to his record.

Overall, the Washington-native has 17-career wins in NGROTS competition, and he won the 2000 Series championship.

Biffle has also collected 20 NASCAR Xfinity Series wins, as well as a championship and 19-career NASCAR Cup Series victories.
