Dawson Cram and Long Motorsports Parting Ways After Successful 14th-Place Run in Michigan

Dawson Cram and part-time NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series team Long Motorsports have decided to part ways effective immediately, the 18-year old announced Thursday Afternoon on social media.

The 18-year-old Mooresville, North Carolina-native has run three events in Long Motorsports’ No. 55 – notching the team’s best ever finish with a 14th-place run in the series’ most recent event at Michigan International Speedway — all on tracks larger than one mile, something new to Cram for the 2020 season.

Long Motorsports has released the following statement:

“Long Motorsports has amicably terminated its relationship with Cram Racing Enterprises and driver Dawson Cram effective immediately. We will continue to race in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in 2020 with a driver to be named at a later date. Long Motorsports wishes Dawson “DK” Cram all the best in his future racing endeavors.”

Long Motorsports has yet to make an announcement on whom the team’s primary driver for the remainder of the season will be.
