All day, it looked like it would be a battle between Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin for the win in Sunday’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and while the box score shows Keselowski taking the win over Hamlin, who was second, it wasn’t even close in the final Stage of Sunday’s race.

Keselowski led a race-high 184 laps en route to his third win of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season and his 33rd-career win.

“We just hadn’t really kinda went out and dominated a race, you know?” Keselowski said of his season prior to his incredible performance on Sunday. “I was talking to [crew chief] Jeremy Bullins and like man, what we need to get to that next level we need to go out and dominate a race and that’s how the day was for us.”

The 36-year old, who is in a contract year, performed his patented American flag celebration after the win to the delight of the fans in attendence.

“It’s so great to be racing in front of fans again,” Keselowski said to a huge pop from the crowd. “I mean, it feels like forever. So, welcome back guys.”

Keselowski won by 1.647 seconds over Hamlin. Martin Truex Jr. finished third, while Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick finished fourth and fifth.

Matt DiBenedetto, Aric Almirola, Cole Custer, Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick rounded out the top-10.

For Almirola, this is his ninth-consecutive top-10 finish.
