The Trump 2020 Campaign decal showed up on the rear quarterpanel of Corey LaJoie’s No. 32 Go Fas Racing Ford Mustang last minute at Pocono Raceway, which led many to believe there was more to the story.

On Wednesday, Go Fas Racing let the cat out of the bag.

Their No. 32 car will feature the Trump 2020 Presidential campaign as their primary sponsor at the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 at Indianapolis this weekend, as well as eight other races in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.

The sponsorship comes by way of the Patriots of America PAC.

For LaJoie, the goal of the sponsorship is simple: Get more NASCAR fans registered to vote come November.

“With an estimated 75 million NASCAR fans out there, I was surprised that about 15 million of those fans are not registered voters,” said driver Corey LaJoie in a team release. “I will give my best effort to get NASCAR fans registered to vote, through our team efforts on and off the track. When they see the car, hopefully it makes them race to the polls in November.”

The Patriots of America PAC has run sponsorship of the Trump campaign on Mike Harmon Racing’s No. 47 machine a few times this season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and they were set to run with the No. 03 Mike Affarrano Motorsports team with driver Tim Viens in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, but the truck never made it onto the track.

The PAC believes partnering with LaJoie and Go Fas Racing gives them the best chance to be seen.

“Our mission is to get voters registered and to the polls in November. We are excited about our sponsorship with Go Fas Racing No. 32 and Corey LaJoie. We feel this partnership is the best way to help us communicate this message to the NASCAR community and encourage all Americans to do their part by heading to the polls”, said Jeff Whaley on behalf of Patriots of America PAC.

While the release didn’t give specific races for the red, white and blue Trump scheme for the remainder of the year, it does say it will be featured in eight more events.
