Angela Ruch Not on Entry List for Saturday’s Pocono Organics 150, Reaume & Iwuji Driving for Reaume Brothers Racing.

Reaume Brothers Racing (RBR) enters the series’ sixth race of the season at Pocono Raceway with a shakeup in the team’s driver lineup, choosing to only enter two trucks, rather than the three trucks the team has entered for the majority of the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Season.

Piloting the team’s No. 33 Toyota Tundra at Pocono is Jesse Iwuji, who made his season debut for the team at Charlotte Motor Speedway, bringing the No. 33 truck home in the 39th-position, after being involved in a multi-truck accident on lap 74, ending Iwuji’s night.

Iwuji has never made a start at Pocono Raceway in the NASCAR Truck Series, but has one start in the ARCA Menards Series at “The Tricky Triangle”, finishing 24th after an accident ended his race early. In eight previous NASCAR Truck Series starts, Iwuji has a career-best finish of 17th, coming at Texas Motor Speedway in 2019, driving for Reaume Brothers Racing.

Driving the No. 00 Toyota Tundra this weekend will be team owner Josh Reaume, who takes over the driving duties of the No. 00 from Angela Ruch, who has run all five races this season for the team, with a best finish of 23rd-position at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In two prior NASCAR Truck Series starts at Pocono, Reaume has earned two top-twenty finishes for Reaume Brothers Racing, finishing 19th in 2018, and 20th in the 2019 running of this race. Reaume’s career best finish was scored last season at Daytona International Speedway, where Reaume brought home a sixth place finish of the No. 33, the best finish on pavement for Reaume Brothers Racing, and the team’s first top-ten finish.

No indication has been made by either Ruch or Reaume Brothers Racing as to why Josh Reaume will be piloting the No. 00 this weekend, rather than Angela Ruch. TobyChristie.com has reached out to representatives from both Ruch and Reaume Brothers Racing for a comment, but has not received a response from either at the time of release.

The team’s No. 33 and No. 00 entries currently sit 31st and 32nd respectively in 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series owner standings, guaranteeing both trucks a spot in the forty-truck field for Saturday’s Pocono Organics 150.

UPDATE – Statement from Angela Ruch:

After the initial publishing of this story, Ruch provided a statement which confirmed that she will not run this weekend at Pocono Raceway and is unsure of when she will be able to return to Reaume Brothers Racing.
