Kyle Busch to the Rear and Will Serve Pass Through Penalty after Truck Fails Inspection at Homestead

Kyle Busch, who was slated to start runner-up in Saturday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, will have to drop to the rear of the field and will need to serve a pass-through penalty on the start of the race after his No. 51 truck was found to have several issues in pre-race inspection.

Busch’s No. 51 team will also be docked 10 championship points, as well.

The Kyle Busch Motorsports machine was in violation of the rule requiring a maximum of one track bar mount lateral support.

Busch had won his previous seven Truck Series starts before he lost to Chase Elliott at Charlotte a couple of weeks ago. Busch is now on a two-Race losing skid, and his path to a win on Saturday will be uphill at best.
