Korbin Forrister Picks up Three-Race Sponsorship With Nursing Home Heroes

Korbin Forrister and the No. 7 All Out Motorsports team will return to the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday when the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series makes it’s return from the COVID-19 pandemic. Forrister will be sporting a new sponsorship, which will be honoring nursing home heroes.

“As everyone is well aware, we are in an unprecedented time with COVID and everything that is happening and we see a lot of appreciation happening with everyone, specifically our health care heroes, that’s where this came from, but this is specifically geared toward nursing home heroes,” said Karen Forrister, who spoke to TobyChristie.com about the new sponsorship deal.

The deal will be tied to four organizations: the American Health Care Association, Georgia Health Care Association, North Carolina Health Care Association and the Florida Health Care Association.

“I’m real excited. I’ve seen a lot of people — I think there are couple of other teams doing schemes for heroes, you know people out there working, so I’m proud to be doing something for them,” said driver Korbin Forrister.

The deal was actually brokered by Karen Forrister, who in addition to being Korbin’s mother, has an extensive background in health care.

“I have actually been involved in the health care industry for roughly 20 years,” she said. “It just came as an idea to use NASCAR as a platform to get the word out to all of our healthcare workers in nursing homes, how much we appreciate what they do.”

While the sponsorship deal is set for three races, it could grow to more races.

“It may end up being a little more,” revealed Karen Forrister.

Forrister and the All Out Motorsports team have made one start so far in 2020 at Daytona, but they attempted to run the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as well, but failed to make the show.

Before the stoppage in the season, it was revealed that All Out Motorsports was working in a partnership with TRD in an effort to further improve the performance of their No. 7 Toyota Tundras, but Karen Forrister explained that with the pandemic, things have changed.

“Well, we have got some different things that we are looking — [COVID-19] changed everything that everyone is doing and every plan that they had — but we are looking at some different options, not so much an alliance, but some different options going forward, but nothing concrete that is worth talking about at the moment.”

Expect to potentially hear some news about a partnership with All Out Motorsports and TRD or another team or perhaps later in the season, but for now, the No. 7 team will be back on track beginning this week at Charlotte and again at Atlanta on Saturday, June 6th as well as Homestead on Saturday, June 13th.
