Brennan Poole ran the first two NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races of the 2020 season for On Point Motorsports, but the No. 30 truck will have a new face behind the wheel starting in Atlanta.

Danny Bohn will start a five-race schedule with the organization, according to a team press release. Sponsorship for the effort will be provided by North American Motor Car and Sierra Delta.

Bohn, 31, started his frist-three career NASCAR Truck races for the team a season ago. His best finish to date was an eighth place finish, which came in Martinsville last fall. The New Jersey native is jazzed up for his turn back behind the wheel.

“I’m excited to get back on the track in the No. 30 Toyota Tundra truck with On Point Motorsports,” said Bohn in a team release.  “Sierra Delta sponsored us for the last two races in 2019, so to have them return alongside North American Motor Car for at least five races this season gives me the opportunity to gain further experience in the Truck Series.”

In addition to Atlanta, Bohn will drive the No. 30 truck at Richmond (April 18), Charlotte (May 15), Bristol (September 17) and Talladega (October 3rd).

Bohn may be a familiar name if you are a fan of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Between 2012 and 2016, Bohn racked up four wins in that series and finished runner-up in the championship standings in 2012. He has also competed in three NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Series races since 2017.
