Christian Eckes Finds Trouble in Stage No. 3 After Promising Run Early

Christian Eckes, the latest hotshot for Kyle Busch Motorsports, found trouble early in Stage No. 3 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday Night. Eckes running in the Top-Five made contact with Todd Gilliland off of Turn No. 2, pushing Eckes’ No. 18 Toyota Tundra into the outside wall, causing a tire rub and putting an end to his chances of going to victory lane.

Eckes finishes second behind team owner Kyle Busch in both Stage 1 & 2, picking up valuable stage points in the prcoess, but will find the finishing result to be lackluster for the second week in a row.
