Another new full-time NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series team has been announced. 18-year old Derek Kraus will compete full-time in the series in 2020 driving for McAnally-Hilgermann Racing.
The team will field Toyota Tundras and will have a technical alliance with Hattori Racing Enterprises.
Kraus’ Truck No. for 2020 will be 19.
“Moving up to the truck series will be a big learning experience for me,” Kraus said in a team press release. “I am looking forward to continuing to work with Kevin Bellicourt and the team. It’s going be a fun year.”
Kevin Bellicourt, as Kraus mentioned in the quote above, will serve as the crew chief for the young driver.
Kraus was the 2019 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Champion.
