Myatt Snider Moves to Part-Time Xfinity Schedule With RCR in 2020

Myatt Snider is a talented racer who has been trying to find his way in the NASCAR National Series in recent years. His budding career got bolstered with an announcement on Thursday that he will drive for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020.

Snider will bring TaxSlayer with him as a sponsor and will drive a part-time schedule for RCR beginning with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway on February 15th.

“I am thrilled to be driving for Richard Childress Racing in 2020,” Snider said in a team release. “It’s such an honor to drive for a team with such a rich history in the sport and I’m excited to start learning from everyone.”

Snider, the 2018 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Rookie of the Year, drove part-time in the Truck Series in 2019 and he spent a good bit of time in Europe driving in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Elite 2 Series.

In nine races in Europe, Snider racked up two podium finishes and he was sixth in the year-end championship standings.
