FORT WORTH, Texas — Denny Hamlin’s bid to clinch his way into Homestead-Miami Speedway, took a hit Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. With around five laps left in the opening Stage, Hamlin lost control on the frontstretch and slid into the infield grass.
Sixth caution in Stage 1 is a new record this year, and it comes with #NASCARPlayoffs implications.
