Christopher Bell Takes First Road Course Win

After an opportune caution just after he pitted late in the CTECH Manufacturing 180, Christopher Bell assumed the race lead.

Bell would hold on to win Saturday’s race over second-place Austin Cindric. Tyler Reddick finished third and he was followed by Noah Gragson and Kaz Grala in fourth and fifth.

This win marks the sixth of 2019 for Bell and it is his 14th win over his career in the Xfinity Series.

Matt DiBenedetto, who led a race-high 18 laps, was running second on the final lap before going off course. DiBenedetto would finish a disappointing 27th but the finish isn’t indicative of the type of day the driver had.

Road course ace AJ Allmendinger also finished a disappointing 24th after being turned on the final lap by Gragson.
