Michigan NASCAR Cup Series Race Most Watched Cable Race in Nearly Two Years
The good news continues to roll in from a television ratings perspective following last Sunday’s Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
NBCSN averaged a total Audience Delivery of nearly 3-million viewers (2.919). The last cable broadcast NASCAR race that scored higher was the 2017 Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
The Michigan NASCAR Cup Series race was also the most-watched sports event of the weekend and it received a 1.79 TV-Only household rating. On the digital front, the race had an average minute audience of nearly 23,000 (22,800), which is a 13% increase over 2018.
