Spencer Boyd to Sit Out Eldora, Other Races With Back Injury
Spencer Boyd revealed on Tuesday that he has been dealing with a non-racing back injury. Not only that, Boyd’s doctor had advised him to miss time this past week at Pocono to heal.
Boyd opted to continue racing, but the pain has become too much and the 24-year old driver will sit out this weekend’s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Race at Eldora Speedway and potentially more races going forward.

Through 14 races, Boyd has scored a top-five finish for Young’s Motorsports and he was 14th in the Truck Series driver Standings.
Landon Huffman will take over the No. 20 Truck this weekend in Eldora.
