Established drivers like Kyle Busch or Kevin Harvick attacking a particular rules package isn’t super shocking. We have seen the top drivers in the sport do the same since NASCAR began in 1948. However, you rarely see any team owners calling out NASCAR or their rules. Bob Leavine, who owns Leavine Family Racing which fields the No. 95 Toyota Camry for Matt DiBenedetto did just that Monday afternoon on Twitter.

Responding to a tweet from Dustin Albino, which had a quote of Kyle Busch talking about his distaste for the current rules package, Leavine said, “Let me second @KyleBusch statement, this package sucks. Has nothing to do with where he finished.”

When asked by Twitter user @StormChaser2u for clarification on his complaints with the package, Leavine opted to stop making his thoughts public.

Leavine’s No. 95 car finished 20th and his driver DiBenedetto was vocal on Twitter as well about not being able to pass anymore cars once he hit the 20th position.
