Interesting Observations About Chase Elliott’s Four Cup Series Wins

Chase Elliott was leading a furious pack of race cars when the field was frozen as a wild crash ensued on the final lap of the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. As a result, Elliott was the winner of the race. It marked the fourth win of his young Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career. But there are some interesting things about Elliott’s four wins.

Did you know: Elliott’s four wins have all come at different styles of race track?

It’s true. His first victory came at a road course (Watkins Glen), his second win came at a 1-mile oval (Dover), his third win came at a 1.5-mile intermediate (Kansas), and his latest win was at a Superspeedway (Talladega). Elliott now just needs a short track win and he will have a win at every type of Cup Series track.

It’s incredible to see how versatile Elliott is this early in his career.

Another interesting thing is that all four of Elliott’s wins have come with a different primary sponsor on the car.

At Watkins Glen last season, it was SunEnergy1 on the car. Mountain Dew was the primary for his victory at Kansas. NAPA Auto Parts was on the hood at Dover. And Little Caeser’s Pizza was the sponsor this weekend.

What does this mean? Nothing. It’s a total coincidence. It’s just interesting that he has spread his wins so evenly among his sponsors.
