Big Changes Announced to the Order of 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Schedule

Well, things will flow a bit differently in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series. The iconic Fourth of July Daytona race will now move to the regular season finale slot. The Brickyard 400 will now move to the July 4th weekend.

Other changes include Pocono contesting both of their races in one weekend. Darlington will move as the opening race of the Playoffs and the Bristol night race becomes a cutoff race in the Playoffs. Also, Martinsville will be a night race for mother’s day weekend.

Perhaps the biggest move though, Homestead has been replaced by ISM Raceway in Phoenix as the Championship track beginning in 2020.
