I primarily stick to Cup, Xfinity and Truck Series news here at TobyChristie.com, but it is very obvious that Hailie Deegan will be in those ranks very soon. The 17-year old from Temecula, California battled hard erasing a four-second deficit over the final 10 laps of Thusday night’s K&N Pro West Series race at the Las Vegas Dirt Track.
Deegan pulled within striking distance of Jagger Jones and when Jones was held up by a lapped car, Deegan pounced.
After starting ninth, Deegan pulled off her second-career K&N Pro West Series win.

Deegan had publicly called this race a must-win so the pressure was high for her to pull through. After a gas pedal issue in her heat race, Deegan was relegated to a ninth-place start, but she worked her way all the way to victory lane.
