Front Row Motorsports just continues to lock in new partnerships, year after year. Tuesday, the race team announced a brand-new sponsor for their No. 38 car that is driven by David Ragan, SelectBlinds.com.

According to a press release from the team, the online blinds retailer will adorn the hood of the No. 38 car for a total of four events in 2019 including the season-opening Daytona 500. The other events that will feature the slick white a blue SelectBlinds.com paint scheme will include: Phoenix in the Spring, the Coca-Cola 600 in May, and the Las Vegas Playoff race.

In addition to serving as a primary sponsor for four events, SelectBlinds.com will be an associate sponsor for team for the entire season.

The paint scheme was designed by Kyle Sykes Designs, who posted the design of the car and firesuit to Twitter.

A brand new sponsor coming to NASCAR is cool. However, the story of how the sponsorship came to be is even more cool.

The partnership was forged by an act of charity. As SelectBlinds.com’s CEO Rick Steele purchased Front Row Motorsports’ No. 38 Shriner Hospitals Ford Fusion from the Barrett Jackson car auction last month, he begun to strike up a friendship with Ragan and the rest is now history.

“You really can’t find more passionate and dedicated people than NASCAR race fans,” said Steele. “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Front Row Motorsports and David Ragan to introduce our products to them. Meeting David, his values align with ours. He puts family first and thinks of others, too. This is going to be a great partnership and we can’t wait to start at Daytona.”

As Daytona looms in the near future, the company may get their logo prominent placement in the sport’s biggest race. Ragan, 33, has been one of the sport’s best at restrictor plate tracks over the years and his resume at Daytona includes a win, three top-five finishes and five top-10s through 24 starts.

“Rick and the team at SelectBlinds.com have been great to work with,” said Ragan. “They have really stepped up in a big way to support our race team and they’ll make a big impact at the Daytona 500. It makes me excited to get to Daytona, kick off our season, and have a great run with them. I’m looking forward to it.”

Ragan has two-career victories in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, the last of which came at Talladega in 2013. The Georgia-native will look to nab his third win, but he will also look to build on the momentum of a 2018 campaign that resulted in his best points ranking (25th) since 2011.
