James Buescher Paces Final Practice

Fort Worth, TEXAS — James Buescher is from Plano, Texas which is just a stone’s throw away from Texas Motor Speedway. Friday Buescher knocked down the fastest lap in Nationwide Series final practice. Buescher rocketed around the track with a lap of 186.124 mph.

Martin Truex Jr. who was second fastest in the first session of the day, backed it up by being second fastest again in the final practice. Kyle Busch, Trevor Bayne, and Jeremy Clements rounded out the top-five fastest in this session.

Texas-native David Starr was tenth fastest, followed by point leader Brad Keselowski in 11th. Danica Patrick has been pretty decent all day so far as she has been 14th-fastest in both practice sessions today.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was at the top of the charts in the first practice, yet he only clocked in 19th fastest this time.

There was a crash involving Chris Kennedy, who had severe front end damage. Kennedy will go to a backup car.

Qualifying for Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Part Challenge.
